From Marla Bay Lakefront Escape you can easily entertain and comfortably sleep up to ten guests.
From the moment you enter, the water takes center stage. The celebrated deep blue waters of Lake Tahoe can be viewed from almost every room in the home. The large open-concept main living space is poised around a cozy stone hearth and is a perfect place to gather after a brisk day on the slopes. Adjacent is the large chef’s kitchen with a six-burner gas range, ample prep space and 4-person granite breakfast bar. Just behind is a formal dining area that can seat 8 more. From the dining area, you can access the large wrap-around porch with panoramic views, plenty of outdoor seating, and a large outdoor dining table for alfresco meals.
This stunning home offers five stylish bedrooms on three floors. The expansive master suite is located on the top floor for added privacy, and features a king bed, fireplace, private balcony, and a large ensuite bath with dual sinks, shower, and a deep soaking tub. The second guest suite, located on the main floor, offers two plush queen beds, patio access, and an ensuite bath. The third guest bedroom is also on the main floor and has a king bed and access to the hall bath. The two remaining guest rooms are located on the lower level. The fourth guest room features two queen beds, direct access to the covered lower patio and has access to a shared bath. The fifth guest bedroom offers a queen bed and shares access to the other lower level bathroom.
Marla Bay is a quaint, active community that celebrates all the year-round recreation that Lake Tahoe has to offer. From this stunning shorefront home, you can soak in the private hot tub, walk out and dip your toes in the water, or venture to larger beaches in the area such as Round Hill Pines and Zephyr Cove. Heavenly Village is just a ten-minute drive away. Swim, boat, and hike in the summer or ski, snowmobile, and snowshoe during the winter. Experience serene lake life at Marla Bay.

The Marla Bay Lakefront is an warm inviting home in an outstanding location. At the end of Marla Bay Beach it has views of the lake and beach that are absolutely beautiful. Just a few short steps away the beach in front of the home is yours to claim. We put up an Easy-Up for the weekend and could relax on the porch and watch the rest of the family while having a little solitude, or join them enjoying the pristine waters of Lake Tahoe. Marla Bay is a vibrant community and we enjoyed being part of it during the day, and the total tranquility at night.

Family Trip
The house was amazing, better than advertised. Great furniture throughout the house that made the trip really comfortable and the added luxuries (grill, surround sound speakers, etc.) we're a pleasant surprise. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Opulent was very helpful rescheduling the trip (originally planned for the beginning of April 2020). Not much else to say, great experience through and through.

Great Property, Great Service
Unlike VRBO and Air BNB, Opulent was helpful throughout the reservation/stay. They reached out a month before the rental to establish our concierge and that concierge provided ideas and advice on activities. During the stay, there were a few questions that were readily answered. They even sent out a handyman to deal with something very small. I would definitely use them again. Unlike two VRBO attempts to this prior (the VRBO contact Realtor couldn't even be bothered to respond back about dates/details), this went through quickly and smoothly.

Everything about this property was perfect - From the morning kayaking on the lake to evening dinners on the deck. My family appreciated how roomy and quiet the house was for our group of 11. The rental company was very responsive to our questions and all amenities were provided to us. We found the home clean and comfortable.
