Winter Way at the Colony is the perfect ski season escape. Staying true to the mountain modern architecture that Park City is known for, this home provides grand gathering spaces as well as cozy nooks to relax and take in the stunning views. Slope-side living at its best, this ski-in/ski-out estate provides a ski prep room, wet bar, private theater, and two hot tubs. With 6 bedrooms in all, a private guest house, 6 full and 2 half-baths, this home offers plenty of space for a large group to unwind after a day enjoying the best powder in the country.
The bright great room showcases sweeping forest and slope-side views. With a floor-to-ceiling stone hearth, dark slate floors and cozy furnishings the main living area is grand and inviting: the perfect gathering space for a large group to warm themselves by the fire as they come in from the cold. The adjacent formal dining area can seat up to 8 guests and the large chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with professional grade appliances, a Wolf gas range and plenty of prep space to cook for a crowd.
The main-level master suite is raised and detached from the main living space and features a king bed, stunning mountain views, a fireplace, patio access and an ensuite bath with a shower, water closet, and a large soaking tub. Up the staircase the main home’s upper level features three more guest suites. The junior master suite has a king bed and an ensuite bath. The third and fourth guest suites both provide their own full bed and ensuite bath. On this same floor is a common sitting area in the loft overlooking stairway and entry. Down the wood and iron staircase to the lower level, you will find the bunk room featuring a twin-over-queen bunk, two additional twin beds in the lofted alcove, and a private ensuite bath.
Just off the bunk room is the lower level media and games room with a living area with a fireplace and flat-screen TV, a billiard or ping-pong table, and a full wet bar. From there enjoy the private home theater room or the in-home gym. The main house also features an outdoor hot tub with stunning views and a large ski prep room with both locker storage and direct ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes.
Outside and across the covered walkway is the private guest apartment that is ideal for those in your party that prefer a bit more privacy. This full apartment sits above the garage and offers a master suite with a king bed and an ensuite bath, living room, fully equipped kitchen with gas range, dining area, an office with queen sofa sleeper, and its own private balcony with a hot tub.
There is nothing quite like The Colony – this private, gated community is home to the largest ski-in/ski-out neighborhood in North America. Still close to the amenities of Park City this home provides a distinct sense of solitude and peace. Winter Way is an exemplary escape for any family or group looking for the idyllic winter getaway.
