Snow is Falling in our Favorite Ski Destinations!

Snow is falling! The vibrant colors of fall have faded, and our favorite ski destinations are blanketed with fresh powder. We love the way mountain towns like Park City, Tahoe, and Whistler transform in the winter months. Despite the cold, travelers are drawn outside to enjoy the slopes and the unique offerings of each community. Here’s what’s happening at our favorite ski destinations this season!

Snow is Falling in Park City, Utah:

Man standing in the snow looking at the mountains
Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort are officially opened! If this year is anything like the last, we have an exciting season ahead of us. You can look forward to the annual Sundance Film Festival all around town as well as Snow Fest 2019 put on by PCMR. Although Park City boasts some of the best powder and resorts in the country, there is far more to do than just ski. Go tubing at the brand new Woodward facility or Soldier Hollow Tubing, dine at one of Park City’s highly rated restaurants, or peruse the shops and galleries up and down iconic Main Street. Park City is a ski destination that specializes in luxury without losing an ounce of small-town charm. View our Park City inventory and join us for the 2019-2020 ski season!

Snow is Falling in Lake Tahoe, Nevada/California:

The snow is falling in Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe is one of those rare destinations that give travelers a reason to visit any time of the year. During the winter months, locals and travelers head to the slopes to enjoy incredible lake effect powder. A massive storm rolled through Tahoe last week dropping over 12 inches of snow! This made for an exciting opening day at Heavenly Resort on November 27th. Beyond the ski resort, there is so much to enjoy this winter around the lake. Look forward to SnowGlobe Music Festival on December 29th or enjoy Disco Tubing January 25th at Squaw Valley Resort. Take a guided snowmobiling trip, explore the world-renown breweries surrounding the lake, or try your luck at one of the areas many casinos. Lake Tahoe caters to the outdoor enthusiast in all of us.
